Get Netflix on Sky Q with Ultimate On Demand Package
Sky has announced a new subscription option called ‘Ultimate On Demand’ that will be available from November 2018 and enables subscribers to gain access to the full Netflix service.
What is Sky Ultimate On Demand?
The new Sky package brings together both Netflix and Sky Box sets into one single subscription package option.
You can only get Ultimate On Demand if you have a Sky Q subscription.
What do Netflix offer?
Netflix is now available in over 190 countries and has 130 million subscribers. It offers a vast array of content including TV series, movies and documentaries.
Netflix has invested heavily in original programming spending billions of dollars creating drama hits such as House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Stranger Things, Ozark and Narcos.
On the comedy front, Netflix original series include Grace and Frankie, American Vandal and The Ranch.
It doesn’t stop there. Netflix has some incredible documentary series such as Making a Murderer, Chef’s Table, Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father and Gaga: Five Foot Two that follows Lady Gaga during her day to day life.
How do I get Netflix on Sky?
You will need to have Sky Q and subscribe to the new ‘Ultimate On Demand’ option available from November 2018. So, if you’re a Sky+ customer then you will need to upgrade in order to get access via the Sky Q set top box.
For Ultra HD you need to have the 2TB Sky box and a Sky Q Experience subscription.
The Netflix App will also be available on the Sky Q platform.
What if I already have Netflix?
No problem. You can transfer your existing Netflix account to Sky’s new package option. What’s more is that you can keep all your existing Netflix profiles and recommendations.
What else is included?
The new Sky package will also include Sky Box Sets that has 400 UK and US TV series including Game of Thrones, Billions and Tin Star.
The new package will cost £10 per month for both new and existing customers who have Sky Q.
